Day & night blinds: privacy and daylight in one
Day and night blinds, sometimes called vision or zebra blinds, use two layers of fabric with alternating sheer and solid bands. Slide the bands past each other and the blind goes from open and airy to fully private.

They're one of the most popular modern blinds we fit in Mansfield lounges and bedrooms. With the sheer bands lined up you get soft, filtered daylight and a view out, while neighbours and passers-by see much less in. Line up the solid bands and the room is private for the evening.
There are plenty of fabrics to choose from, including linen textures, subtle metallics and dim-out options for bedrooms. They work well in bay windows too, with a blind on each pane.

Are day and night blinds the same as vision blinds?
Yes. Day and night, vision and zebra blinds are all names for the same style of dual-layer striped blind.
Do day and night blinds block all light?
They give good privacy and dim a room well, but the sheer bands mean they aren't full blackout. A dim-out fabric is available for bedrooms.
