This website is operated by Vesta Blinds Limited (company no. 13802520), trading as Harley Blinds. Registered office: 83-89 Phoenix Street, Sutton-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire, NG17 4HL. We are the data controller for personal information collected through this site.
What we collect
If you fill in our quote form, we collect your name, phone number, postcode, and optionally your email address and message. If you call or email us, we keep a record of that contact.
Why we use it
Only to respond to your enquiry, arrange your home visit, prepare your quote and, if you go ahead, supply and fit your blinds. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and performing that contract.
Who we share it with
No one, except the people and systems we need to fulfil your order (for example our email provider and the manufacturers who make your blinds, who receive measurements, not your contact details). We never sell your details or add you to marketing lists.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't go ahead are deleted within 12 months. Customer records are kept for six years for accounting and guarantee purposes.
Cookies & analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this site, for example which pages are viewed and whether the quote form or phone number is used. Google Analytics only loads if you click Accept on our cookie banner. When enabled, it sets cookies and processes data such as your approximate location, device and browser. It does not tell us who you are. You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page, or opt out with Google's browser add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser. We don't use advertising cookies. The map on our areas page is loaded from OpenStreetMap.
Email delivery
Messages sent through our quote form are delivered to us by SMTP2GO, our email delivery provider.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you by emailing info@harleyblinds.co.uk or calling 01623 325054. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
